ZAMBALES, Philippines — Men and women of the Philippine Navy took a major step forward in professional and personal development last night, September 19, following a successful one-hour charter orientation session via Zoom for the newly proposed TestMic Speakers Society of Zambales.
The onboarding program was spearheaded by renowned global speaker, author, and TestMic Founder Spkr. Lloyd Luna. Luna is a pioneering figure in the local and international speaking industries as the founder of the Philippine Association of Professional Speakers (PAPS) and the Public Speaking Institute.
Lasting a little over an hour, the orientation deep-dived into the core mission, vision, and foundational values of TestMic International. During the session, Spkr. Luna underscored the critical need for a consistent and continuing training venue where members can sharpen their communication skills free from judgment. Instead of high-pressure critique, the TestMic framework heavily emphasizes collaborative peer mentoring—fostering an environment of psychological safety, mutual encouragement, and fast-paced growth.
As a chapter tailored for uniformed personnel who routinely display valor and dedication in service, the TestMic Speakers Society of Zambales aims to cultivate powerful voices capable of delivering clear, persuasive communication both within the military and across public platforms.
The successful Zoom orientation marks the official beginning of the chapter’s journey toward full charter status under TestMic International, setting the stage for regular mentorship sessions, public speaking competencies workshops, and impactful community leadership.
