Designed specifically as a dynamic school club for students and amateur speakers looking to build real-world confidence, the TestMic Speakers Society provides an encouraging, high-energy environment where student members can master stage presence, impromptu thinking, and modern communication.

2. Meeting Roles & Organizational Structure

To keep the school club engaging, approachable, and distinct, we utilize specialized student-friendly positions designed to foster leadership and speaking capabilities.

Meeting Role	Primary Responsibility for Students & Amateurs
Student Host / Emcee	Builds natural stage presence, crowd management, and charismatic event hosting skills.
CenterStage Speaker	Delivers a focused, 3-minute spotlight presentation using the CARP™ Storytelling Method, followed immediately by an interactive Hot-seat session.
Hot-Seat Facilitator	Makes impromptu speaking and Q&A fun and approachable, helping amateurs conquer stage fright quickly.
Lead Mentor / Coach Panel	Provides encouraging, step-by-step guidance centered on growth rather than strict penalties.
Delivery Buddy	Captures the speaker’s natural speaking style, emotional connection, and calmness on stage.

3. School Club Operational Protocols

A. Pre-Meeting Readiness for Amateurs

• Friendly Tech & Mic Checks: A quick 15-minute sound and room check before the meeting starts so student speakers feel comfortable with the sound system and stage layout.
• Peer Check-Ins: First-time or amateur speakers are paired with an experienced student mentor 24 hours prior to confirm their topic and ease any anxiety.

B. High-Support Execution & Recognition Protocols

• The Safe-Space Rule: Absolute psychological safety. Temporary blank spots, pauses, and stumbles are treated as natural learning milestones, never as failures.
• CenterStage & CARP™ Execution: Spotlight speakers take the floor for precisely 3 minutes, crafting their message using the CARP™ Storytelling Method. Immediately following each presentation, the speaker undergoes a brief, supportive Hot-seat Q&A before the next speaker takes the stage.
• The 1-Minute Hot-Seat: Short, low-pressure impromptu prompts designed to help absolute beginners get comfortable thinking on their feet without intimidation.
• Constructive & Kind Feedback: Evaluations follow a positive mentorship model highlighting what worked brilliantly and one clear tip for next time.
• TestMic Speaker of the Day Award: At the conclusion of each meeting, members vote or are evaluated to recognize the standout presenter, naming one recipient the meeting’s TestMic Speaker of the Day.
• Milestone Accolades: Members accumulating the highest number of Speaker of the Day wins across meetings earn the title of Society’s Local Speaker of the Month. Accumulating the most monthly wins throughout the cycle secures the esteemed Society’s Local Speaker of the Year award.

C. Post-Meeting Community Building

• Quick Member Debrief: A fast 5-minute wrap-up where officers celebrate milestones, first-time speakers, and meeting flow.
• Social & Networking Wrap: Time reserved after the official program for students to mingle, build friendships, and debrief informally.

Today, we have an exciting lineup featuring our 3 CenterStage Spotlight Speakers, our interactive Hot-Seat, and our coveted TestMic Speaker of the Day award. Let’s dive right in. I now hand the floor over to get our first block started!”

Part 2: Block 1 – CenterStage Speaker [00:10 – 00:40]

• Assigned Officer / Role: CenterStage Speakers (3 Spotlight Speakers) & Hot-Seat Facilitator / Delivery Buddy

“Moving into Block 1: CenterStage Speaker. For today, we are featuring 3 spotlight presenters. Each speaker will have precisely 3 minutes on stage utilizing the CARP™ Storytelling Method. Right after each presentation, we will jump straight into a quick, supportive mini Hot-seat Q&A.

Let’s call our first CenterStage Speaker to the floor!”

(Speaker 1 delivers a 3-minute CARP™ presentation.)

Hot-Seat Facilitator:

“Fantastic job on that delivery! Stay right here on stage with me for just 30 seconds for a quick, low-pressure question. Here is your prompt: If you could give your past self one piece of advice right before stepping onto a stage, what would it be and why?“

(Speaker 1 answers briefly. The process is repeated identically for Speaker 2 and Speaker 3, utilizing the CARP™ method and immediate mini Hot-seat interaction.)

Part 3: Block 2 – The Hot-Seat [00:40 – 01:00]

• Assigned Officer: Hot-Seat Facilitator

“Thank you to all three of our CenterStage Speakers! Now it’s time for Block 2: The Hot-Seat. This is our 1-minute impromptu segment designed to help absolute beginners get comfortable thinking on their feet without intimidation.

Who wants to volunteer or be randomly tagged for a quick, fun 1-minute scenario? Don’t worry—there are no wrong answers here, just an opportunity to have fun and build your reflex muscles!”

(Facilitator gives 1-minute impromptu prompts to participants, ensuring a supportive and lively atmosphere.)

Part 4: Block 3 – Supportive Peer Coaching & Mentorship Feedback [01:00 – 01:20]
